Multi-lane vertical form fill seal packaging machines designed and manufactured by General Packaging Equipment Co. in Houston make ice blankets up to 23.5” / 590 mm wide. The number of pockets and the pocket width is changeable. The number of rows of pockets in each ice blanket is an unlimited variable that is set on the machine touch screen. Pocket length and fill weights are set on the touch screen.

Time-pressure filling is used for water and free flowing formulations and positive displacement filling is used for higher viscosity formulations.
